Miss Mabel Riley, who came to the Royal Holloway College as an Entrance Scholar in 1919, has been my pupil during her course for Classical Honours. I have found her a most steady and conscientious student, interested in her subject, intelligent and receptive. Her work for me has been solid, thoughtful and accurate. During the earlier part of her residence here she was prominent in the athletic life of the College.
Miss Riley is well equipped for teaching Latin and Greek. She would perform her duties with the utmost care and devotion, and would, I feel sure, endear herself both to her pupils and to her colleagues.
